They say, happiness never Zhang Yang, it's often hidden in an unexpected moment.
Perhaps it's when you open a book and your heart is moved by the words; or when a melody plays and you feel just the right amount of resonance.
In line with the theme of 'Hong Kong Reading Week 2026' - 'Reading/Tasting Happiness', Hong Kong Public Libraries and Phil Lam present: 'Happiness Index - Between Books and Melodies' Music and Story Sharing Session. Phil will personally read stories and perform live, intertwining words and melodies delicately, allowing reading to continue not just on the pages, but also between the notes, piecing together your happy moments with lyrics and songs.
We invite you to slow down, read carefully, and listen quietly. In the flowing stories and songs, savor the happiness that has always been there, and let's 'slowly enjoy the music in books' together.
The performance lasts for about 1 hour.
